The Confessions of a Worshiper

I wrote a blog about worship. I was encouraged about it. But it was still hard and is still hard for me to worship through my circumstances. I didn't think of myself as a conditional worship. I truly thought I was super Souled out for Christ. But I have truly had to evaluate my walk with Him. My head understands that God is real. But I am having a hard time getting my heart to connect. As this new year has begun, I have started a 21 day fast. My purpose is to reconnect to my Savior, to get my Zeal, Conviction and Joy I once had. As I go through this journey the following song is truly encouraging me: Nothing Is Impossible by the Planetshakers. Here are the lyrics:

My scripture for the day is Proverbs 3:5 The Message Bible puts it this way-

Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
    don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
    he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
